This
promises to be a great fun day out for the whole family, so if you are in our
neck of the woods this Sunday, please drop in and support the Castlelyons
Community Council's Amuigh Faoin Aer at Ballyvolane House. It is an open air
festival of music and dance as well as a re-enactment of the grizzly Ballyvolane
House murders in 1730.
A recent article in the Corkman newspaper, 'Castlelyons
group in last-gasp bid to track down elusive jennett' tells of their quest
for authenticity in the re-enactment.
The
gardens are open to the public from 2pm followed by the concert at 3.30pm.
The event will be held outside in the gardens which are looking fantastic,
thanks to Jeremy's hard work.
I hope you can join us.
Best
regards,
Justin
and Jenny Green.
